Let’s gooooo! I’m beginning this blog properly…. not just by throwing in a fitting DJ Khalid meme but with a crazy quote that really captures the whole point of what iBegYourPardon.ca is:

And if that is the only thing that will matter then, that should be one of our greatest concerns now. The real question then is: What are you doing of significance today that will matter three-hundred-million-plus years from now?” – Mark Cahill, One Thing You Can’t Do In Heaven
This quote never gets old to me. It is simple, it is true, and to be honest I find it pretty scary. Many of us think about life in the future but I doubt many of us think about life that far ahead. Do you have a 3 or 5 year plan? A 10 year plan? How about a 300 million year plan? Right. Me neither. But….we should because when we die, that’s all folks, Heaven or Hell…and we will still be in one of those places 1000 years from now, a billion years from now…forever.
There’s so much to write about (and God-willing I’ll be writing for a long time) but I’ll end this first blogpost by simply saying that this site “iBegYourPardon.ca” has three people in mind who I am “begging” from and for:
- I’m begging God Almighty to bring as many people into Heaven as possible.
- I’m begging Christians to share their faith with others sincerely, lovingly, and properly (hence there will be a lot content here to help you with this).
- I’m begging everyone else, regardless of your past or beliefs to consider where you will be 300 million years from now and into eternity. Please consider the day you die and what will happen afterward.
